Meet the Team

Tamra Brown

Office Manager

“I love making people smile and building relationships with our patients. We have a great team that feels like a family and our patients are part of that!”

Tamra joined our practice in 2007, having started in the dental field in 2001. She wears lots of hats in our office, from assisting the doctor and supporting patients during procedures to managing the staff. Her goal, like the rest of our team, is to keep our patients smiling!

Victoria Saykally, DDS

Associate Dentist

Dr. Victoria Saykally, a Bay Area native, found her passion for dentistry while completing her bachelor’s degree at University of Washington. She discovered that dentistry allowed her to combine her love of art and interest in the sciences while also provide her with a platform to give back to her community. She studied Molecular, Cell, and Developmental Biology, as well as Global Health while working as a dental assistant. After completing her degree, Dr. Saykally moved back to the Bay Area and worked as a research associate at a virology lab at UCSF, participating in the publication of multiple papers researching HIV and Cytomegalovirus. Dr. Saykally went on to complete her doctorate degree at University of the Pacific in San Francisco. During this time, she led and participated in numerous dental outreach trips, both locally and abroad. She decided to receive further training by completing a hospital-based residency at VA Palo Alto and Stanford Hospital. During this residency, she focused on providing patient-centered comprehensive care to veterans, dental clearance for medically complex patients, and facial and dental emergency care to pediatric and adult patients. When not practicing in Tiburon, Dr. Saykally also practices part time as an attending dentist at VA Palo Alto, providing comprehensive care to veterans and training dental residents.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Saykally is an avid skier (you can find her many weekends in the winter at Tahoe) and hunter/jumper equestrian. She enjoys spending her free time with her dog, Piper, and horse, Navy.

Tara Marie Johnston, DDS

Pamela Menges

REGISTERED DENTAL HYGIENIST

I was raised in Lake County and have been in dentistry since 1976! I started at SRJC as a dental assistant, studied at Sonoma state as a chemistry major, then graduated from UCSF dental hygiene school in 1987. I graduated top of my class with awards In research and periodontology! I knew at six years old that I wanted to be in dentistry; I would look at peoples’ mouths and think about how I could improve their smile! I have volunteered extensively in Marin County with the Marin County dental clinic, Ritter House, St. Vincent de Paul and the San Rafael fire department screening Hispanic children in the canal area. I love international volunteer work; I have travelled to Bangladesh, Nepal and Tibet offering free dental care through local NGOs. My goal is always to make dentistry accessible, educational and FUN FUN FUN!!

I live with my husband and two cats in San Rafael, and in my spare time I love distance running, costume design and photography!
